Congratulations, Daisy!

I am a member of an online message board for sighthounds at www.4theloveofsighthounds.com. I enjoy getting to converse with other folks who love their dogs as much as I do, and I am currently the board's featured merchant! Daisy, a previous customer, was the winner of the cutest cuddle bug contest, and here is her winning entry. I mailed off her prize, a pink flames collar, today and can't wait to see her in it. Congratulations, Daisy!

Size difference

I just wanted to share an example of how varied in size my collars can be. Shown is a picture of a KU collar made for an Alaskan Malamute named Recon. Inside of that is a collar for itty bitty Molly, one of our IGs.

College rivalry at its finest!

I went to school at the University of Kansas and am a Jayhawk through and through. So, when I got an order for a University of Missouri collar, it was more than just a simple request. You see, Missouri (Mizzou) is KU's arch rival. But, I figure my cousin went there, so it can't be all bad. Either way, I surrounded the Mizzou collar with some custom KU collars that I just finished up. It can't hurt to surround it with lots of Jayhawk vibes. :)

Example of combo martingale

Here's our foster dog, Charlie, modeling a combo martingale collar. It is combination because it has a side-release buckle but also the martingale loop. The fabric is navy bones.

Pics of my first custom order!

Here is a picture of a collar I made for Lulu, the sweetest pug I know. The fabric is bright paisley and it is a standard buckle. I mentioned a martingale combo collar before, and that is a modified choke collar. It is used primarily for sighthounds, such as Italian Greyhounds, Whippets, or Greyhounds. Since these breeds' heads are the same size around as their necks, if they pull back on a lead, they could escape. If your dog is not one of these breeds, I recommend a standard buckle. I hope this info is helpful!!

Fabric Choices

Business begins!

Welcome to Daisy's Diva Designs! I have two Italian Greyhounds, Daisy and Mari, for whom I love to make collars. This small business venture comes from that love of crafting and my desire to share it with others. All my collars (for now) are 1" width and adjustable. I can make a standard buckle or a combo martingale collar. Each collar costs $10 plus shipping. Just email me how many inches your dog's neck is and which fabric you would like! foxyjayhawk@hotmail.com
